It is my personal belief that there is a vocation for every person born into this world. A leader views security with self-confidence and has the ability to adjust to change.You will love people and serve them. A good leader develops people to stand on their own feet and to think for themselves.
A leader thinks on the can do side of things, and always finds a way that it can be done. A leader realises that the thinking of those he leads will be a reflection of his own thinking.
A leader gives hope, faith, the power of enthusiasm, and inspires courage. He is a man of character, cooperative, honest and 12 jewels.

Three brods were working on a construction job. Someone asked: “What are you doing?” The first brod answered, “I am cutting stone.” The second brod answered, “I am earning Php1,000 a day.” The third brod answered, “I am helping to build a cathedral.”
In Alpha Phi Omega, We are all leaders but which brod was the real leader? The leader is the man who thinks of what he is doing, The man with vision and imagination. Does your work fill you with satisfaction? If it does not, then you may be in the wrong vocation, and you are not headed for LEADERSHIP.
You have ensured that your programme will not damage or any other persons but rather that it will be of benefit to all. your plan must be of benefit to others, or else it will not succeed. No one with any understanding of world conditions today doubts the need for leaders. But we fear to follow our destiny because we hesitate to accept responsibility.
The real leader is an energiser. He is the spark plug that keeps the engine firing but he does not use his magnetic qualities to advance himself. His powers are all devoted to the advancement of his cause, his goal, his becoming. He knows that he cannot progress unless others progress also, so he carries his followers along with him. He has a sense of purpose and direction. When you say Leaders, I mean not only the people at the top. No matter what vocation calls you, decide that you will a Leader a Friend and a Servant. Be a Leader rather than a boss. Suggest or request rather than command. Be rational, Be friendly and Serve with gladness.
