Brothers and Sisters:
In view of our continued efforts to help and assist our brothers and sisters affected by the Marawi siege, we are creating a special committee to oversee and coordinate all these efforts from various groups in order to account and record all donors as well as the list of victims who were recipients, and even those who did not receive any until this time.
For this purpose, we are appointing Brother Alibasa Andig Ali Scissor Andig, Beta Upsilon ’74 and a two-termer Regional Director of APO NMAR. Brod Ali is based in the cities of Marawi and Iligan. We are giving him the free-hand to appoint members of his special committee and he will report regularly to the National Executive Council through the National Office of the activities of the committee. He can be reached at 0916-321-0783.
Right now, we are coordinating with Brod Faiz Disomangcop, Alpha Kappa ’76 and NMAR Section Chair to give us a report and accounting of the 151K turned-over to him as collected from the plenary session during the general assembly in Gensan dated May 27, 2017. We will be posting the report in this forum once they are ready. We will request for Brods Ali and Faiz to coordinate this matter for transparency purposes.
At this point, we are continuously appealing to all of you to share your blessings at these trying times. Let us help our brethren in Marawi, in cash or in kind and even through our fervent prayers.
We thank all our brothers and sisters here and abroad including all the various groups like the Oplan Kapatiran, Tabang Marawi, Kapit-bisig Marawi, Project Marawi and all of you with the best of intentions to help and serve those who are in distress.
Mabuhay ang ALPHA PHI OMEGA!
For the APO National Office:
